Caffeine is an alkaloid substance contained in coffee beans that has effective lipolytic and thermogenic properties. It stimulates the drainage and removal of stagnant liquids but above all it mobilizes fatty acids in the adipose tissue.
Lipases are water-soluble enzymes that catalyze the digestion of dietary lipids, breaking down the ester bond that binds the hydroxyl groups of glycerol to long-chain fatty acids.
